The celebration of St. Barbara has as a main act, the tradition of profiteroles covered in Mistola (grape juice and alcohol) which is not fermented. From the early hours of the morning women start to make the profiteroles.

The origins of the festival of St. Barbara, were exclusive to the parish and consisted in a simple mass celebrated in church. Since the 80’s and by parish advise and intervention, the festival has receive a great impulse, as now there are organized cultural activities, sports and games established itself in a way as to become the profiterole (buñolada) festival.

Since 1986 the council has taken a great part in its organisation and year after year has diversified all kinds of activities.

Actually, the festival of St. Barbara has almost two weeks of activities dedicated to its name.
